Exhibition, Guided Tours & Tours

On Saturday, June 21, starting at 11 a.m., Manfred Scharnberg will give a personal tour of the exhibition, talk about the creation of the work and answer questions.

The citizens of Rostock already have the opportunity to see a photo exhibition that will represent our federal state in the state representation in Berlin on this year's Day of German Unity. With "From today to tomorrow", photojournalist Manfred Scharnberg spans thirty years from the radical upheavals of the 1990s to the present day.

An extensive journalistic journey through time with exciting everyday scenes, short texts and interviews that can be listened to via cell phone. To coincide with the anniversary of the Neptun shipyard, the exhibition, which had a very successful run at the Kulturhaus Mestlin, will make a stop at the Rostock Maritime Society before moving on to Anklam and Berlin. After all, a significant proportion of the photos were taken in the Hanseatic city.

On Saturday, June 21, starting at 11 a.m., Manfred Scharnberg will give a personal tour of the exhibition, report on the creation of the work and be available to answer questions.

The exhibition shows pure transformation. It encourages people to engage with the changes in MV. Because in the documentary photos and texts from Anklam, Barth, Rostock and Schönberg you will find many points of contact with your own history and experiences.
